Yeah--it's been a couple months since I last wrote.  But honestly, not much has been happening.  I guess since the wedding's out another eight months and the wedding planner has us on a pretty good schedule, we have some time before things start getting hectic again.

What's been happening personally, you might ask.  Well, because the wedding planner has intervened on my behalf and finally got it through to Laura's mom that this wedding is about Laura and me, it's been a lot better.  Laura and I even went out a few times without her parents and just enjoyed each other's company.  She's realized that she got so caught up in everything and bowing to her mom too much that she didn't see how much of a rift it was creating between us. 

I have friends who are married, and they love to say how I should just stay out of the way, that this is just "women stuff" and all I have to do is show up at the wedding.  But this isn't just women stuff.  This is Laura and me stuff.  If this was just about the wedding planning I couldn't care less.
