I have been married ten years but I have three regrets about my wedding:
*I didn't have all the options that are available to brides today.
*I was a DIY bride and while I loved crafting everything for my wedding, I was limited in what I could craft, what I could use and who could help me with my vision.
*I didn't have a wedding planner.
The new millennium is about options. Possibilities. Dreams. This is a no-do-over event. Get all the professional help you can get. Do the craft and decor if you enjoy it, but leave it to professionals to setup, have a planner run around with those pesky problems that are sure to crop up. Your focus should be on your new husband and enjoying yourself!

Amanda Olson’s Bio
My entire life I knew that I wanted to plan weddings. Growing up in Grosse Pointe Michigan, I was always fascinated with special events and the way they come together. I started planning small parties in my early years, mostly birthday parties for friends and family and then moved on to planning more substantial events like my mother’s bridal shower and helping with her wedding. Ever since I have been the go-to person for those who know me, when they have a big event to celebrate.
In May 2007 I graduated from Loyola University Chicago with a Bachelors in Business Administration with a major in Marketing, and started searching for my dream job. In 2008 I met Kathy and started assisting her with weddings. I got to learn from the inside how a wedding is really put together from the centerpieces to the event timeline. Ever since the first day of working with Kathy I knew that this was the perfect place for me. I truly love being able to make a couple’s dream wedding become a reality. Seeing the look on the bride and groom’s faces when they see and experience the finished product brings me an amazing feeling knowing that I helped make it happen.
